What was your worst day on the bike? That's easy; Labor Day 1986; Rendered unconscious by a parked 10 wheeler.
Favorite day on the bike? Also easy. Wallis Sands round trip on the tandem. Led the pack all the way back to Newburyport. Wait ... also a one way ride from M'Head to Ogunquit with a 20 mph tailwind. 75 miles in under 4 hours!
What is your favorite bike food? Fried clams.

Why do you ride the PMC? I don't. I used to ride the PMC. Why? Because it was fun.

What bike do you ride?: Trek 1200
Has Drew named your bike?: Not yet, but I prefer "SHLOMO".
What was your worst day on the bike? Biking back down Bridge Street, Salem, I almost got hit by a car turning left and then by the car behind me!
Favorite day on the bike? Any day that the Cyclopaths bike together as a group!

Why do you ride the PMC? At first to keep up with my friends, but later to honor my dear wife Fran, who is a suvivor of cancers.

Brief cycling background: I started biking as a child and biked my way from class to dorm and back through Cambridge traffic. And I just continued.
What was your worst day on the bike? The day we stopped at the top of the Beverly Bridge and I almost fainted.
Favorite day on the bike? Round trip ride to Ogunquit

Why do you ride the PMC / Best Buddies / MS150 / etc...? No longer ride the PMC but when I did it was for the camaraderie and the joy of getting exercise while doing something so worthwhile.

Something we don't know about you but should: I had a friend, Phyllis Turner, who has since passed away. One day in the late 1970's we were talking about our psychotic biking group and its travels up and down the various bike paths on the North Shore. So-o-o, she and I coined the name CYCLOPATHS! So there you have it.
